1 – Ask the other students questions:
When did you arrive in France? I arrived in 2019. I arrived three years ago.
Where do you live? I live in Ariane, Nice.
How old are you? I am 25 years old. I’m 37 years old.
My birthday is August 7, August 11, September 15, September 25, November 4, November 23, February 21.
What about you, Maxime? My birthday is December 6. Ah, just like my son! His birthday is also on December 6. He is eleven years old.
2 – Conjugation verb aller (irregular verb)
Present:
I’m going to
You will. Where are you going? I’m going to the park.
It will
We will
You will
They will
Past :
I went to the library yesterday (past tense, once, result)
I was going to the park when I met a friend (imperfect tense, duration or repetition)
When I lived in Nice, I often went to the park.
Future :
I’ll go. Where will you go after class? I’ll go to the park with Pikria
Near future :
I’ll go. What are you going to do now? I’m going to the park.
Another example of the two futures with the verb to do:
What are you going to do after class?
What will you do if it rains?
Regular conjugation of the verb to eat :
Present tense: I eat
Past :
I ate (past tense – once – result of action)
I was eating (imperfect tense – duration or repetition)
Examples:
When I lived in France, I ate a pain au chocolat every morning (repetition – много раз – обычно).
I was eating (duration) a pain au chocolat when I saw Alma.
This morning I ate a pain au chocolat. (Past tense)
Future and near future :
Je mangerai – я буду есть – I will eat
Je vais manger – я съем (near future) – I am going to eat
3 – Exercise: Talk for a minute, say what you want, words or phrases.

I’m sleepy – Are you sleepy? No, I’m not sleepy.
I’m hungry – Are you hungry? No, I’m not hungry.
I’m thirsty – Are you thirsty? No, I’m not thirsty
